1,000,000 tractors for the Massey Ferguson plant in Beauvais

On November 20, 1960, production of the first Massey Ferguson tractor began at the Beauvais (Oise) site. Today, the 1,000,000th machine rolled off the production lines of the factory.

A historic copy

The 1,000,000th tractor produced in Beauvais is an MF 8S.305 Dyna-VT. It was acquired by Thierry Aubrée, an agricultural contractor and cereal farmer based in Brittany, on the advice of his local dealer, the Hervé company. Already owning several machines of the brand, the latter was seduced by the high level of technological equipment, the power and the comfort of the 8S.305 Dyna-VT.

Soon a Massey Ferguson Campus

This event occurs while the Beauvais site is in full mutation. In order to further improve its quality of service, the plant is currently carrying out an ambitious project called Campus MF. This aims to bring together in a single place the different activities of the company. Strengthening the link between the technical (production, engineering, product development, etc.) and administrative (legal, finance, HR, IT, among others) departments will improve the working conditions of the 2,500 employees on the site. Many new developments should therefore see the light of day in the months to come.
