The General Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic has placed an order for 100 new CAS 20 fire tank trucks. THT Polička will be the contractor, and TATRA TRUCKS will supply the TATRA TERRA T815-2T5RA3 two-axle all-wheel drive chassis with a four-door cab.
They are equipped with a 440-horsepower TATRA T3D-928 diesel engine with an air-cooled system, paired with an Allison automatic transmission. Fire trucks with CAS 20/4000/240 water spray systems will receive superstructures made of light alloys. Their equipment includes tanks with a capacity of 4000 liters for water and 240 liters for foam concentrate.
